At least two people were killed and several others injured on Monday as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, amid continued violations of a ceasefire agreement for the 193rd consecutive day.

According to Gaza’s Civil Defense, one person was killed and another injured in a strike targeting the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central part of the Strip. At least three others were injured following attacks on areas west of Gaza City. Meanwhile, local media sources reported additional casualties, including deaths and injuries, after Zionist enemy forces targeted a group of civilians in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Over the past 24 hours, the attacks resulted in two fatalities and 22 injuries, bringing the total number of victims from reported Israeli ceasefire violations since October 11 to 777 dead and 2,193 injured. Additionally, the bodies of 761 victims were recovered during this period.

The Gaza Health Ministry stated that the total death toll since the beginning of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, has reached 72,553, with 172,296 people injured, according to its latest figures released on Monday.

Zionist enemy naval vessels shelled the shores of Khan Younis, while heavy gunfire from military vehicles targeted eastern regions. At the same time, intense airstrikes hit the outskirts of the central governorate.

Shelling and demolition operations have continued in the regions classified by the Zionist forces as the “yellow line,” despite the theoretical implementation of a ceasefire agreement. Palestinian sources accuse the Zionist entity of committing daily violations, including killings and widespread destruction.

In a related development, the Palestinian General Authority of Crossings and Borders announced that the Zionist entity would fully close the Rafah Crossing. The closure is expected to halt the evacuation of patients, even as more than 18,000 sick and wounded individuals remain on waiting lists to travel abroad for treatment, amid worsening humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
