Irish politician and former Member of the European Parliament Mick Wallace has asserted that the Saudi-UAE coalition was effectively given the green light to bomb Yemen “back to the Stone Age” after it refused to submit to what he described as Western imperialism.
In a post on the platform X, Wallace said the coalition “received approval from Obama, the United States, Europeans, and the United Nations to bomb Yemen back to the Stone Age, because Yemen refused to bow to Western imperialism.”
He further pointed to what he characterized as a “deafening silence” from Western media outlets regarding the coalition’s actions, accusing them of failing to adequately address what he described as its crimes.
