At least eight people martyred in a Zionist enemy strike targeting a police vehicle in southern Gaza, according to a correspondent for Al Mayadeen.
The report stated that the attack hit a police vehicle in the Bir 19 area of Mawasi Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Zionist enemy artillery shelled eastern regions of Gaza City, while enemy warships opened fire toward the coast of Khan Younis in the south.
The cumulative toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has reached 72,568 martyrs and 172,338 injured, according to the report.
The Zionist enemy have continues its attacks and violations of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip that was concluded on October 11, 2025.
Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza stated that the actions carried out by Zionist enemy over the past 24 hours are an extension of the ongoing war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the enclave.
They added that the escalation comes in the context of undermining efforts to stabilize the ceasefire agreement, amid international silence and clear incapacity, reflecting a continued failure by mediators.
The factions called on mediators and the international community to take serious and immediate action to halt daily killings and ongoing violations against Palestinians.
