Local authorities and mobilization officials in Arhab district, Sana’a province, in coordination with centers linked to the late Sheikh Mohsen Abu Nashtan, organized a speech event and a student march on Tuesday to mark the annual commemoration of the “Sarkha,” the rallying cry against what they describe as arrogant powers.

Ali Mahaba, a member of the Supreme Central Committee for Mobilization, said the occasion reflects key ideological and faith-based dimensions, describing the slogan as a turning point that helped shape Yemen’s stance in supporting regional causes, particularly Palestine and Gaza.

He added that this position stems from what he described as the Quranic project, launched by Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi during a period of widespread dependency.

Speakers highlighted the challenges faced by the movement’s founder and the targeting of the slogan and its ideology, stressing that commemorating the anniversary reaffirms commitment to his path and to resisting foreign influence.

Cultural activist Abdullah Al-Obaidi described the anniversary as a mobilizing platform to strengthen faith-based identity and confront adversaries and their agendas.

The event included various segments attended by local officials and community figures. Separately, summer schools in the Shaker area organized a student march to reaffirm disavowal of what participants called the enemies of Allah and to emphasize continued mobilization and ideological commitment.
