Hamas has called on the international community, as well as all concerned countries and parties, to take immediate action to halt demolition massacres in the occupied city of al-Quds, and to pressure the Zionist enemy "government" to stop the daily crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hamas said that the escalation by Israeli occupation forces of demolition operations in occupied al-Quds, along with notices for the demolition of dozens of commercial and residential structures, comes amid an ongoing offensive against al-Quds towns, particularly Al-Ram, Kafr Aqab, and Qalandia.

The movement said these actions constitute a crime and an open war against the Palestinian presence in the city, and form part of efforts to empty al-Quds of its residents and forcibly displace them.

Hamas stressed that the continuing demolitions and rising number of demolition notices in al-Quds represent a blatant violation of all international norms and laws, as well as a continuation of the systematic Judaization policies, ethnic cleansing, and a dangerous targeting of the holy city.

The statement concluded by affirming that al-Quds will remain exclusively Palestinian land, that the occupation has no sovereignty over it, and that the Palestinian people will remain firmly rooted in their land. It added that Palestinians will confront this open aggression with all available means and will thwart plans of Judaization and displacement regardless of how far the Zionist enemy proceeds.
