The head of the judiciary in Iran, Sheikh Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, said that his country has never left the negotiating table, stressing that the Islamic Republic welcomes dialogue based on logic and rationality but categorically rejects any form of dictates or imposed terms.

Speaking during a meeting with officials on Friday, Mohseni Ejei said the position of the Iranian people is clear and decisive in defending national dignity, adding that any threat to Iranian honor would be met with resistance and fighting in its defense.

He added that this stance was reflected in the “Fadaeiyeen of Iran” campaign, which includes 30 million people and has instilled fear in the hearts of the country’s enemies.

In the same context, Mohseni Ejei said that an adversary which failed to achieve any of its objectives through aggression and military threats would under no circumstances be able to impose its expansionist ambitions at the negotiating table.

He stressed that Iran will continue vigorously pursuing the legal and judicial dimensions of the American-Israeli aggression against the Iranian people, including war crimes committed during that aggression.

He added that these efforts would continue both domestically and internationally with the aim of punishing war criminals and securing due compensation.
