The Zionist enemy announced on Tuesday the extent of its human losses in the ongoing battles with the resistance in southern Lebanon since fighting resumed in early March.

In an official statement, the Zionist enemy's "army" said that 18 officers and soldiers had been killed, while 910 others were injured during the continuing confrontations in southern Lebanon.

The statement added that 190 officers and soldiers were wounded over the past two weeks, noting that “114 military personnel sustained moderate injuries, while the condition of 52 others was classified as serious.”

The Zionist enemy's army continues to carry out intensive attacks on Lebanon as part of an ongoing aggression that has resulted in thousands of martyrs and injuries, in addition to the displacement of more than 1.6 million people.

Despite a fragile ceasefire that came into effect on April 17, Zionist enemy forces have continued ground incursions into southern Lebanon, alongside demolition operations and the systematic destruction of homes and buildings, as well as the forced displacement of residents from dozens of villages, under the pretext of targeting what the Zionist enemy describes as “military infrastructure and Hezbollah operatives.”
