Zionist enemy forces launched a series of attacks and airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, resulting in deaths and injuries amid ongoing military escalation targeting towns in the south, Nabatieh, and Sidon.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced that three Zionist enemy airstrikes on the coastal highway linking Sidon to southern Lebanon, specifically in the areas of Barja, Jiyeh, and Saadiyat, killed eight people, including two children. The strikes targeted vehicles along the coastal road, particularly in Saadiyat.
Lebanon’s National News Agency also reported that one person was killed and another injured in a drone strike carried out by Zionist enemy forces targeting a Rapid vehicle near the former Sidon municipal stadium north of the city.
In another attack, the Health Ministry stated that a Zionist enemy airstrike targeting a car in the city of Sidon resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to another.
The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that two people were injured in a Zionist enemy strike targeting the town of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr in the Tyre district.
As part of the ongoing raids, Zionist enemy warplanes carried out an airstrike on the town of Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as another strike on the town of Aita al-Jabal in the same district. Zionist enemy aircraft also launched two successive strikes targeting a residential building on the Kfarreman–Maidaneh highway, completely destroying it.
The Zionist enemy's "army" issued warnings to residents of the towns of Kfarhatta, Arabsalim, and Deir al-Zahrani, urging them to evacuate their areas.
Hezbollah Responds to the Attacks
In response, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the enemy's army armored personnel carrier in the city of Bint Jbeil using an attack drone, claiming a direct hit. It also targeted the newly established Blat military site in southern Lebanon with a rocket barrage.
Hezbollah further stated that it launched rockets at gatherings of Zionist enemy soldiers and military vehicles in the town of al-Qawzah, and targeted another troop concentration near the Moussa Abbas complex in the city of Bint Jbeil using an attack drone.
It also announced attacks on an enemy military vehicle in the town of Rashaf and a D9 bulldozer near Khallat al-Raj in the town of Deir Siryan using attack drones. In addition, it struck a “Namira” military vehicle in the Wadi al-Oyoun area with a guided missile, claiming a direct hit.
Hezbollah added that it targeted a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers between the Wadi al-Oyoun area and the town of Srebbine with a rocket barrage.
