Eight civilians were killed and more than 40 others injured as a result of a Zionist enemy airstrike targeting a residential building in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.

Gaza’s Civil Defense reported that one of its personnel was injured after falling while attempting to control a fire inside the targeted apartment following the strike.

In the same context, Zionist enemy forces carried out artillery shelling in eastern Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist aggression continues to affect various areas across the Gaza Strip despite the existence of a fragile ceasefire. Civilians, including women and children, continue to be killed in these attacks, while entire residential buildings are being destroyed.

According to data released by the Ministry, the total number of casualties since the announcement of the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 857 fatalities, in addition to 2,486 injuries and 771 recovery cases.

The cumulative toll since the beginning of the war in October 2023 has risen to 72,744 deaths and 172,588 injuries.
