The Palestinian movement Hamas has condemned a strike carried out by Zionist enemy forces earlier today targeting a food distribution point near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in the deaths of three individuals.
In an official statement, Hamas called the incident a “deliberate war crime” and part the recurring pattern of “ongoing genocide” against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
The group stated that the attack comes “amid unjustified international silence and inaction,” stating that such a response encourages the Zionist enemy to continue its actions, which reflect a “blatant disregard for all international values, norms, and laws.”
Hamas called on mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement to assume their legal and moral responsibilities, urging them to issue an immediate condemnation of the horrific crime.
The movement also demanded concrete measures to halt the Zionist enemy's violations and crimes against Palestinians in Gaza, and to compel the Zionist entity to adhere to its commitments under the ceasefire agreement.
In the same context, Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that five people had been killed in Zionist enemy strikes across the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours.
The Zionist enemy has continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza since its signing on October 11, 2025.
