Dozens of Zionist settlers entered the al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards under the protection of Zionist enemy forces, according to local reports.

Groups of settlers entered the Mosque through the Moroccan Gate and carried out religious rituals in its courtyards, including areas near the Bab al-Rahma prayer site.

A settler performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern section near the Bab al-Rahma prayer area, wearing "tefillin rolls"—a symbol of Zionism—on his arm.

In a related development, dozens of female settlers entered the Western Wall area, located to the west of al-Aqsa Mosque, where they performed prayers and Judaizing religious rituals to mark the beginning of the Hebrew month of "Sivan".

At the same time, Palestinian worshippers from the city of Nasirah, inside the occupied interior, traveled to al-Aqsa Mosque to perform prayers.

The mosque witnessed a series of large-scale incursions over the past week carried out by groups associated with what is referred to as the “Temple Mount” movement and their supporters, as part of an escalation of violations against Islamic holy sites in occupied al-Quds.

According to local sources, more than 2,772 settlers and extremists entered the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque during this period. Some did so under the pretext of tourism, conducting provocative tours, performing Talmudic rituals, and engaging in singing, dancing, and raising the occupation's flags within the compound.

Sources added that the peak of these incursions occurred last Thursday, coinciding with what is called the "Flag March", which witnesses attacks and provocations against the people of al-Quds every year.

Incursions into al-Aqsa mosque continue amid warnings from al-Quds-based observers of escalating plans aimed at imposing new realities within the site and consolidating Zionist control over Islamic holy places in occupied al-Quds.
