Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ahmad Vahidi, stated that the killing of Izz al-Din al-Haddad has exposed the occupiers betrayal and failure to honor its commitments.

Vahidi said that Palestinian men and women continue to stand firm, drawing on faith and three years of resilience, “like an unshakable mountain” in the face of the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy, which decends from the medieval era.

He added that the brave fighters from Hamas have remained committed to their cause, with many having lost their lives while others continue to hold their positions, awaiting the eventual victory.

Vahidi further stated that the hands of the Zionist entity have once again been stained with blood of one of the greatest and most steadfast resistance fighters,  Izz al-Din al-Haddada, the courageous leader of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

Vahidi pointed out that al-Haddad was killed along with his wife and daughter at a time when a ceasefire in Gaza is in place, which was based on “false promises” by the Zionist enemy. He arged that the incident once again demonstrated a breach of agreements and a failure to uphold commitmentus.

He emphasized that the killing of a senior commander during a ceasefire period constitutes further evidence, of repeated violations by the Zionsit enemy.

Vahidi added that, “Allah's promise does not fail,” and that with the continuation of the path of resistance, the future of the Palestinian people and their land will ultimately be shaped by their own actions.

He concluded by stating that this outcome would include the end of all Zionist presence in Palestinian territories, the elimination of the “cancerous entity,” the elevation of Palestinian resistance, and the liberation of al-Quds.

Vahidi also stressed that the Zionist enemy “must understand” that the will of the people of Gaza cannot be broken and will ultimately prevail over injustice and aggression.
