Approximately 70,000 worshippers performed Friday prayers today at the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque.
The al-Quds Governorate reported that tens of thousands of worshippers began arriving at al-Aqsa Mosque since the early morning hours. Meanwhile, the occupation's forces imposed strict measures in the surrounding area, deploying large numbers of troops at the al-Aqsa Mosque gates and throughout the Old City.
The occupation's forces also prevented two steadfast individuals, Nafisa Khweis and Nizam Abu Rumouz, from performing Friday prayers, and forcibly removed them to the Bab al-Asbat area.
