Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that the cumulative death toll resulting from the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon has risen to 3,151 fatalities and 9,571 injuries since the latest escalation began on March 2.

According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, published by the National News Agency, the number of casualties recorded over the past 24 hours included 28 deaths and 65 injuries.

The report stated that 123 healthcare workers have been killed and 301 others wounded as a result of 151 attacks carried out by the Zionist enemy targeting ambulance teams and medical personnel.

Since March 2, the Zionist enemy forces have intensified their military operations against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure. The attacks have resulted in thousands of deaths and injuries, as well as the displacement of nearly 1.5 million Lebanese citizens, the majority of whom are not registered in official shelter centers.

A temporary ceasefire agreement entered into force in mid-April; however, Zionist enemy forces continue to commit daily violations of the agreement.
