Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Abu Ras has sent a message to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the passing of Imam Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini.

In his message, Abu Ras praised the legacy of Imam Khomeini and the principles he embodied, including resistance to oppression, liberation from dependency, the pursuit of independence, opposition to global arrogance, the strengthening of solidarity among the peoples of the Islamic nation, and support for the nation’s just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

He noted that the anniversary comes at a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to face what he described as a brutal aggression and unjust blockade imposed by the United States and the Israeli enemy entity.

Despite this, he said, the aggressors have failed to achieve their objectives due to the steadfastness of Iran’s armed forces and the unity and resilience of the Iranian people, who have served as an unyielding bulwark against every plot and conspiracy.

Abu Ras concluded his message by reaffirming Yemen’s steadfast support and full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its brotherly people in confronting US-Israeli aggression.
