A child and a woman were martyred, and a number of citizens were injured today, Monday, as a result of continuous Zionist attacks in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Israeli enemy continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement through shelling, gunfire, and demolition operations across separate areas of the Strip.
A medical source announced the arrival of the child, Rayan Bahaa Abu al-Ajeen, as a martyr at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, accompanied by his injured father. This followed hours after enemy forces opened fire on them and detained them in the Wadi al-Salqa area, southeast of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The source explained that enemy forces fired at the child and his father and detained them in the area, before later releasing them on Salah al-Din Road in the central Gaza Strip. They were subsequently transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, where the child was declared martyred due to his injuries.
In a related development, citizen Nadia Kamal Ayyash was martyred, and a number of other citizens were injured after being targeted by a Zionist drone in the vicinity of the Abdul Rahman bin Auf Mosque in the town of Al-Zawayda.
In Gaza City, the enemy continued its house demolition operations in the eastern quarters of the city, coinciding with intensive overflights by warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft.
In Khan Younis, in the southern Strip, sources reported that Zionist military vehicles opened heavy fire, synchronized with continuous artillery shelling targeting various areas of the governorate.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 986 citizens have been martyred and 3,138 others injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli enemy violations of the truce and ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip since October 11, 2025.
The Ministry of Health stated that the cumulative death toll since the beginning of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, in the Gaza Strip, has risen to 72,996 martyrs, in addition to 173,246 individuals suffering from various injuries, including serious and critical conditions.
