The Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, affirmed that the Iranian people have proven that blood triumphs over the sword.
In a post on his personal social media page, Brigadier General Esmail Qaani wrote: "The Resistance, which is founded upon divine faith, has achieved a new victory, stretching from the Revolution Square in Tehran to the Freedom Square for oppressed nations."
He added: "Congratulations to the people of Imam Hussein in Iran, and to the brave regional Resistance who have proven, on the eve of the Hussaini Muharram, the meaning of 'Far from us is humiliation' (Heyhat minna az-zillah), and that blood truly triumphs over the sword."
