The Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) of Iran announced that the Islamic Republic, guided by its leadership, has solidified its superiority in confronting the American-Zionist enemy, sustained by the steadfastness of its people and the dedicated efforts of its armed forces.

According to the Council's statement, Iran successfully finalized the text of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding the end-of-war negotiations (the Islamabad Talks) with the United States on the evening of June 14, following months of arduous and intensive rounds of negotiations.

The statement added that based on the reached agreements, the war and military operations across all fronts, including Lebanon, will cease immediately and permanently starting tonight. Furthermore, the naval blockade imposed on Iran is to be terminated immediately and completely.

The Council noted that the official and formal signing of the memorandum of understanding will take place on Friday, June 19. It clarified that subsequent negotiations aimed at reaching a definitive, final agreement will be deferred until after the other party fulfills its obligations stipulated under the current MoU. The Council also expressed its gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the State of Qatar for their mediation efforts.

This announcement follows a declaration by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who confirmed that a peace agreement had been reached between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran following intensive negotiations.

In turn, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated that an immediate and permanent cessation of the war and all military operations on various fronts, including the Lebanese front, would be declared starting tonight.

Concurrently, U.S. President Donald Trump announced from his side the completion of the agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
