Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced that an immediate and permanent cessation of the war and military operations will be declared across various fronts, including the Lebanese front, effective tonight.

Gharibabadi emphasized that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United States was not merely the fruit of diplomacy, but also the direct result of military achievements and the resilience of the people.

He noted that the final draft of the Islamabad MoU has been completed and is scheduled to be officially signed this coming Friday in Switzerland. Following the signing, the heads of both the Iranian and American delegations will hold talks to outline the specific arrangements for the next phase of negotiations.

The Deputy Foreign Minister further clarified that the termination of the U.S. naval blockade imposed on Iran will commence tonight.

"We have included all of our core and fundamental positions within this memorandum of understanding, and the complete text of the MoU will be published following the official signing ceremony," Gharibabadi stated. He pointed out that the public will be able to see the sheer volume of achievements secured in comparison to the scope of commitments undertaken. He asserted that the scale of obligations accepted by Iran is incomparable to the massive gains and breakthroughs achieved.

Furthermore, Gharibabadi stressed that the memorandum "does not signify trust in the enemy, but rather was drafted under a baseline of absolute mistrust," confirming that the implementation of the enemy's commitments and the clauses of the agreement will be strictly monitored. He indicated that Iran will verify the execution of the American side's obligations between now and Friday.

He noted that threats issued by Iran tonight played a significant role in pushing the negotiations forward regarding certain issues embedded in the text of the agreement, adding that the Iranian armed forces were on high alert to deliver a decisive response.

According to the official, a 60-day round of negotiations will commence only after verifying Washington's fulfillment of its obligations related to ending the war. He made it clear that these negotiations will start once the blockade is fully lifted and frozen Iranian assets and funds are released.

Iranian state television stated that the United States was forced to accept an end to the war, attributing this outcome to the power, steadfastness, and resistance of the armed forces and the Iranian people. The network added that the Islamic Republic of Iran has officially compelled the American-Zionist enemy to end the war across all fronts.

This follows an announcement by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who declared that a peace agreement had been reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran following intensive negotiations. Concurrently, U.S. President Donald Trump announced from his side the completion of the agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
