A Lebanese citizen was killed and another was injured on Thursday following a Zionist enemy drone strike targeting a vehicle at the Kfar Tebnit - Arnoun roundabout in the Nabatieh District of southern Lebanon, according to the National News Agency.
This attack occurred just hours after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, which mandates an end to the war in the region, including Lebanon. Notably, at least six citizens have been killed since Monday in Israeli assaults on the south of the country, while Hezbollah has not violated the agreement at all.
From the intensification of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon on March 2nd until June 17th, the death toll reached 3,884, while 11,856 people were wounded.
In this context, an Al-Mayadeen correspondent in the south reported that a citizen was killed as a result of a Zionist enemy airstrike that targeted the town of Zebdine in the Nabatieh District.
In the course of the continuous Israeli aggression despite the announced "ceasefire," the correspondent reported that a Zionist enemy drone strike targeted the town of Hadatha, while another strike hit Kfar Tebnit. Concurrently, a hostile quadcopter dropped a sound bomb near a group of residents in the town of Beit Yahoun, resulting in two injuries.
Furthermore, the Zionist enemy carried out artillery shelling targeting Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the town of Kfar Roummane.
The Al-Mayadeen correspondent noted that the Lebanese Army is working to open the road from Hadatha toward Bint Jbeil, allowing ambulance crews and health organizations to enter and retrieve the bodies of those killed from the area.
The Zionist enemy continues to launch attacks on various areas in southern Lebanon, despite announcements from Washington and Tehran regarding an agreement to end the war between them, which encompasses the Lebanese front.
