The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates renewed its warning to the Israeli enemy entity against continuing its aggression against Lebanon, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of thousands and the destruction of civilian infrastructure since the beginning of the aggression in early March.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the Zionist aggression against Lebanon as a flagrant violation of international law and a blatant breach of the Memorandum of Understanding, which stipulated the immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.
The Ministry indicated that the Israeli enemy entity, through this dangerous escalation, seeks to undermine efforts aimed at ending aggression against the countries of the region and to thwart attempts to achieve security and stability therein.
The statement clarified that the Axis of Resistance will not stand idly by in the face of the continued escalation by the Israeli enemy entity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the heroic operations carried out by the Lebanese resistance against the aggression, which inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, considering them a legitimate exercise of the right to self-defense as guaranteed by international norms, conventions, and laws.
The Ministry also referred to the recent statement by the Leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirming Yemen’s continued readiness to confront any escalation or developments arising from actions by the American and Israeli enemy.
The statement emphasized readiness to respond to any measures targeting the region, attempting to reimpose the isolation of Gaza, or affecting any arena within the Axis of Resistance, the countries of the region, or the peoples of the Islamic nation.
