Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, announced that the Resistance will confront the enemy whenever it attempts to advance to any position, warning the Lebanese authorities "against the consequences of making any concession or commitment to the enemy in direct negotiations."

Speaking during a memorial ceremony organized by Hezbollah to honor the missing martyr Osama Adeeb Awada, Fadlallah said, "The enemy is trying to compensate for its failure to achieve its goals—of controlling the south, destroying the Resistance, and eliminating its existence—by committing massacres against civilians, especially within the last few hours."

He emphasized that "when the enemy attempts to expand its occupation, it is only natural for the Resistance to confront it, keeping in mind that the enemy has not abided by the ceasefire, is the one violating it, and is the one who wants to occupy this land and remain in it. The option available to us is to remain steadfast, stand firm, resist, confront, and prevent it from staying on our land."

He added: "There is talk of a ceasefire. As for us, what concerns us is that the enemy commits fully and comprehensively to a ceasefire, and that it does not attempt to attack our country and villages, or seek to occupy any new point; rather, it must halt fire completely."

Fadlallah pointed out that "while we express every readiness to cooperate and extend a hand to save our country, we warn against the consequences of making any concession or any commitment to the enemy in direct negotiations, which we reject. This is because there are those who are trying to disrupt a major achievement that could be realized for the benefit of our country through US-Iranian negotiations."

He stressed that "the authorities must not be arrogant or deny reality, especially since they will not be able, through their concessions, to implement what they offer to the enemy, because they will clash with a massive popular will and the will of the Resistance. The government does not possess the capacity to implement these concessions and is merely providing free services to the enemy. Therefore, it must reconsider its choices and not submit to the occupation's conditions."

He also affirmed, "We will not allow these authorities to grant this enemy through politics what it failed to achieve on the battlefield... In contrast, the government can benefit from our call for cooperation, convergence, and mutual understanding on national foundations that protect sovereignty."
