The Commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, asserted on Thursday that the Zionists must leave the entirety of Lebanon, emphasizing that this land is an arena of steadfastness and resistance.

Addressing the Zionists, Qaani stated: "If you do not withdraw from Lebanon today by your own volition, tomorrow you will be forced to flee in shame and ignominious defeat."

Qaani continued: "Do not forget the year 2000 and the historic testament of the martyr, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, in Bint Jbeil ('Just as I have always promised you victory, I promise you victory once again')," adding that "the promise remains alive, and the scene will repeat itself."

Days earlier, the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament), Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, announced that the negotiations in Switzerland had yielded joint understandings and mechanisms with Washington regarding guaranteeing Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He confirmed that it was decided to establish a coordination center to enable Lebanese citizens to return to their homes and to secure the withdrawal of the enemy entity's forces from the country. It was also decided to establish a specialized coordination center for Lebanon to handle and review any disputes regarding ceasefire violations.

Similarly, the spokesperson for the Iranian negotiating delegation, Esmaeil Baghaei, stated that a mechanism would be established to monitor the implementation of the first clause of the memorandum of understanding in Lebanon. This new mechanism, known as the "Conflict Resolution Cell," aims to ensure that the ceasefire in Lebanon is sustainable.

These developments come at a time when Islamabad and Doha are leading intensive diplomatic efforts to contain the conflict. Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, confirmed that the primary objective of the recent memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran is to halt the ongoing war and establish a clear institutional framework for the negotiating process between Tehran and Washington.
