An Iranian source close to the negotiating team confirmed to Iranian television that the withdrawal of "Israeli" enemy forces from Lebanon is a fundamental prerequisite for reaching a final agreement with Washington.

Iranian television quoted the source stating that this withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories represents an important red line for the Iranian team.

"The withdrawal from Lebanese territories is considered one of the most prominent basic conditions for reaching a final agreement," the source added, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic "will not settle for less than a permanent ceasefire and a complete withdrawal of the Zionist entity from Lebanon."

The source further noted that the final memorandum of understanding in Switzerland "guarantees Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, which has been explicitly emphasized in the text," and that "Tehran is closely following the specific timeline for implementing this mechanism."

The source pointed out that "the scale of attacks on Lebanon has witnessed a noticeable decline, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the Iranian measures."

Earlier today, the Commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, asserted that the Zionists must "leave the entirety of Lebanon, because this land is an arena of steadfastness and resistance," adding: "If you do not withdraw from Lebanon today by your own volition, tomorrow you will be forced to flee in shame and ignimonious defeat."

Within the framework of the negotiation session held in Switzerland between Iran and the United States, through Pakistani-Qatari mediation, it was agreed to establish a mechanism to monitor the implementation of the first clause of the memorandum of understanding in Lebanon. This new mechanism is known as the "Conflict Resolution Cell," and its objective is to ensure a stable ceasefire.

The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to emphasize the importance of including a ceasefire clause for Lebanon within the context of its negotiations with Washington, stressing that an Israeli withdrawal from the occupied territories is an essential condition for completing the negotiation path.
