Local sources reported that the release operation took place through the Kerem Shalom crossing, before the prisoners were transferred to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, where they were received and underwent necessary medical examinations.

The Zionist enemy authorities had also released 14 prisoners this Saturday, in the same manner via the Kerem Shalom crossing and through the crews of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

With the arrival of these 13 prisoners, the number of liberated detainees who have reached the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital since the conclusion of all stages of the "Tufan al-Ahrar" (Flood of the Free) deal up until June 29, 2026, has risen to 434.

According to data from the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, the number of prisoners in the Zionist enemy's jails has exceeded 9,600, including around 1,250 detainees from the Gaza Strip classified as "unlawful combatants," in addition to 90 female prisoners and approximately 350 children.
