The Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian Shura Council, Ebrahim Azizi, stated that the era of American intervention in regional affairs is over, emphasizing that "the return of the defeated will not achieve any gain."

Regarding the strategic Strait of Hormuz, Azizi pointed out that it is "an integral part of Iranian national sovereignty, and its management is solely the responsibility of Tehran."

On the Lebanese front, Azizi asserted that Lebanese sovereignty is not guaranteed by "disarming the resistance," but rather by "ending the occupation and aggression."

In relation to Hormuz, Tehran announced that it held a meeting with the Sultanate of Oman to discuss the management of the Strait of Hormuz. This follows a previous agreement between the two parties to form a joint committee to discuss the management of navigation in the strait, within the framework of following up on the memorandum of understanding (MoU) and emphasizing the security and safety of maritime navigation in a manner that preserves the rights of littoral states and the stability of this vital waterway.

In Lebanon, a "framework agreement" was announced last Friday between the state and the Israeli entity. This development has been described as an act of capitulation, complicity, and a surrender of sovereignty to the enemy, and it has faced widespread popular and political party rejection.

On the American track, Tehran, speaking through its President Masoud Pezeshkian, confirmed that it will adhere to the memorandum of understanding if the United States adheres to it. This comes after the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously affirmed that its current focus is centered on implementing the clauses of the memorandum of understanding, and that its priority is ensuring its serious execution.
