The spokesperson for the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated: "The massive and enthusiastic public turnout at the funeral of the martyr leader, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, is evidence of the nation's strength."

In a statement to the "IRNA" news agency on Sunday, on the sidelines of her participation in the farewell ceremony for the martyred leader, the government spokesperson said: "The most important thing we must note, in this regard, is the sheer size of the crowds participating in the funeral and farewell ceremonies for the martyr leader and his family. Therefore, considering the level of public interest in participating, this matter is regarded as one of the manifestations of our nation's strength. As we have witnessed, a large number of people attended the funeral prayer and the farewell ceremonies, and we hope that this massive public presence contributes to preserving our dignity and strength."

She added: "The headquarters for organizing the ceremonies was specifically formed under the supervision of the First Vice President, and its meetings were held regularly. The work was divided, and all routes were organized and designated, with provincial governors also playing a special role in this regard."
