The Iranian Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 14 people have been martyred and 78 others wounded as a result of a series of aggressive airstrikes launched by U.S. forces across various regions of the country over the past two days, marking a flagrant violation of the current ceasefire agreement.

The head of the Public Relations Center at the Iranian Ministry of Health, Hossein Karmanpour, stated in a post on the "X" social media platform that "while the ceasefire was in effect, the United States targeted five Iranian provinces" on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Iranian medical official confirmed that 47 of the 78 wounded individuals are still hospitalized and receiving necessary medical care and treatment across Iranian hospitals.

Karmanpour noted that, on behalf of the Iranian Minister of Health, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Jabbari, conducted a field inspection visit to the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) Hospital in the city of Chabahar to assess the condition of the wounded and the progress of medical operations amid the ongoing aggression. Medical sources confirmed that, fortunately, this medical center did not sustain significant damage from the U.S. attack, emphasizing that the delivery of health and medical services to citizens and the injured continues fully and without any interruption.

Various regions in Iran were subjected to a U.S. aggression described as the largest since the signing of the "Memorandum of Understanding" between the two sides. Iran had previously warned that any attack on its territory would be met with an immediate response on a wider scale, which materialized yesterday and today at dawn through a series of strikes that shook the U.S. military presence in the Gulf region.
