Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has asserted that his country "will stand firmly to defend its rights," following the recent U.S. military aggression against Iran and the violation of the ceasefire.
In a post published on his personal page on the social media platform "X," Pezeshkian stated that the behavior of the U.S. government during the FIFA World Cup serves as a "microcosm of the pattern it follows in its foreign policy," accusing Washington of "bending rules, exerting pressure, creating obstacles for others, and cheating."
The Iranian President added that these tactics fall under the strategy of the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA), emphasizing: "You cannot deal with Iran in this manner."
Pezeshkian stressed that Iran "stands powerfully by its rights," referencing the ongoing tension between Tehran and Washington following the latest military escalation and breaches of the ceasefire by U.S. forces.
