Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the execution of the second phase of its retaliatory response to American attacks, declaring the destruction of Washington’s command and control center in West Asia as well as the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan. The IRGC stated that the operation was carried out using 10 ballistic missiles at 2:20 PM on Thursday.

Earlier, Jordan's official state news agency reported that air raid sirens were activated across the kingdom after Iranian missiles were detected in its airspace. Concurrently, the U.S. Embassy in Amman issued an urgent warning to its citizens, advising them to take shelter in secure locations due to the presence of missiles and drones in Jordanian airspace.

In an official statement, the IRGC warned the U.S. military against any further escalation, emphasizing that "should the U.S. military repeat its aggression, other American bases across the region will not be safe from our heavy fire."

The Guards reiterated a stance from their previous communique, noting that repeated hostilities would inevitably force an expansion of Iran's retaliatory operations to encompass additional enemy outposts throughout the entire region.

The IRGC had previously disclosed details regarding the first phase of its "punitive response" against  covenant-breaking U.S. forces. In that opening phase, naval and aerospace units of the IRGC carried out a joint operation utilizing missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) just hours after the initial attacks on Iranian soil. That operation targeted and degraded critical infrastructure and vital facilities across two U.S. bases in Kuwait—"Camp Arifjan" and "Ali Al Salem Air Base"—as well as two facilities in Bahrain, "Juffair" and "Sheikh Isa Air Base".

These widespread strikes come in response to the American breach of the current ceasefire agreement. Various regions inside Iran were subjected to a wave of U.S. airstrikes described as the largest since the signing of the bilateral "Memorandum of Understanding." Iran had previously cautioned that any violation of its territory would trigger an immediate and wider counter-offensive, a warning that materialized between yesterday dawn and today through a series of strikes shaking U.S. military installations across the region.
