Israeli enemy forces on Friday released Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Al-Quds and the Palestinian Territories and the Imam of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to local sources, the release was granted on the condition that Sheikh Hussein be banned from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of one week.
Earlier in the day, enemy forces arrested the Mufti of Al-Quds after storming the acoustics room inside the Al-Qibli Musalla (prayer hall) immediately following the conclusion of Friday prayers. He was subsequently taken to a police station via the Chain Gate (Bab al-Silsila), one of the main gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex.
