The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza on Friday condemned an attack by Israeli enemy, who used a "quadcopter" drone to drop a bomb targeting Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
The attack resulted in injuries to two hospital employees, despite the facility being located within a designated green zone.
In an official statement, the Ministry emphasized that these continuous and systematic attacks targeting health facilities and medical personnel put the lives of workers and patients at grave risk. Furthermore, the Ministry noted that such actions severely undermine the healthcare system's capacity to deliver life-saving medical services.
The Ministry has called upon the United Nations, alongside all international, humanitarian, and relevant institutions, to provide urgent protection for healthcare facilities and medical teams, demand a halt to these attacks, and put an end to the ongoing violations against the healthcare sector.
