According to data and assessments published by the newspaper, the physical toll on infrastructure and buildings translates into unprecedented numbers, with the debris from destroyed structures estimated at approximately 40 million tons.

Clearing this rubble alone is projected to require a massive budget estimated at roughly $2.5 billion USD. This figure covers only the removal of debris and site preparation, without factoring in the subsequent costs of immediate reconstruction.
