Regional sources have confirmed to the American network "CNN" that Pakistan and Qatar are actively working to bring the United States and Iran back to the negotiating table.

On Wednesday evening, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all parties to exercise restraint and to "refrain from any actions that would further undermine regional peace and stability."

In an official statement, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry emphasized that "there is no alternative to continued dialogue and diplomacy to achieve the shared goal of peace in the region."

Pakistan also urged all parties to fulfill their obligations under the Islamabad "Memorandum of Understanding" (MoU), which it stated "remains a firm foundation for mutual understanding, respect, and shared prosperity for the region and beyond."

In this context, a U.S. official told "Reuters" on Thursday that "Washington remains committed to finding a solution with Iran." This statement followed the military aggression carried out by the United States over the past two days, under the pretext of "Iran targeting commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz."

Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held two phone calls on Thursday with his Omani counterpart, Badr Al-Busaidi, and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, as well as a phone call with Pakistan's Army Chief, Asim Munir, warning against any new American military adventures.

Washington had previously violated the "Memorandum of Understanding" with Iran by bombing several Iranian cities over the past two days, resulting in casualties, including those killed and injured. In response to the aggression, the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army retaliated by bombing U.S. bases in the region.
