Hamas leader Abdul Rahman Shadid emphasized that the attacks by herds of Zionist settlers against Palestinians in the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, and other villages and towns across the West Bank—including looting, theft, abuse, targeting of properties, and firing live ammunition at citizens and children—embody a dangerous level of organized terrorism and criminality. He added that this reflects a full partnership between the Zionist enemy "army" and settler gangs in an attempt to uproot the Palestinian people and displace them from their land.

In a press statement issued today, Saturday, Shadid warned of the serious implications of escalating assaults in the occupied West Bank. He considered that the enemy entity's government providing protection and cover for the settlers, alongside granting them a green light to attack villages and tamper with citizens' lands and properties, will bring nothing to the occupation and its settlers but more fear, panic, and disappointment. He stressed that the Palestinian people are stronger than all annexation and displacement plans.

Shadid praised the steadfastness of the residents of Al-Mughayyir village and all targeted areas, as well as their firmness in the face of continuous attacks. He affirmed that the citizens' adherence to their homes and land in all governorates of the West Bank forms a national banner for confrontation and acts as a barrier against attempts at Judaization and settlement expansion.

Furthermore, he called upon the masses of the Palestinian people in the West Bank to strengthen popular solidarity and support, activate protection committees, expand field presence, and confront settler attacks, urging them not to leave any village or family to face this terrorism alone.

The Hamas leader concluded by stressing that the crimes of the Zionist enemy and the settlers will not uproot the Palestinian people from their land. He stated that the escalation of aggression necessitates greater unity, firmness, and confrontation to protect the land and people, while also demanding Arab, Islamic, and international action to restrain the usurping entity and hold its criminal leaders accountable.
