A young man was injured at noon today, Saturday, by Zionist enemy forces' gunfire while they were pursuing workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area, east of Beit-lehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

The director of the Al-Ubeidiya Ambulance Service, Mohammad Allam, explained that enemy forces chased workers and opened fire at them in the Wadi al-Hummus area, which is located between the village of Al-Khas, east of Beit-lehem, and the town of Sur Baher, southeast of occupied Al-Quds.

He indicated that a young man in his thirties, a resident of the town of Sa'ir north of Al-Khalil, was injured by live ammunition in his lower limbs and was subsequently transported to a hospital to receive treatment.

Allam pointed out that the Zionist enemy forces have escalated their operations chasing and pursuing workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area, which has led to several of them being injured by gunfire.
