The military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Republic in Iran, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, confirmed that the United States of America has violated the terms of the signed memorandum of understanding until "nothing remains of it but a name," noting that "there is no longer anything called the Islamabad Understanding, neither in name nor in deed."

Rezaei warned that the continuation of American attacks for a few more days will push Tehran into a phase of an "all-out offensive" on the ground that does not recognize political borders.

In an interview with Iranian television, Major General Rezaei detailed the manifestations of Washington's breach of the agreement, stating: "Among the matters that the United States violated in the memorandum of understanding are: the non-withdrawal of the Zionist entity from southern Lebanon, the establishment of an illegal corridor in the Strait of Hormuz despite the opening of the legitimate Iranian corridor, the lack of respect for Iran's sovereignty, aggression against its coasts, and the failure to release confiscated assets."

Rezaei clarified the corresponding Iranian position regarding the waterway, asserting firmly: "Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz to preserve its security and the security of the global economy, and in response to the hostile actions of the United States." At the same time, he emphasized: "We do not accept the Americans having any role in the Strait of Hormuz, the global energy lifeline."

The military advisor warned against bypassing the Iranian approach to managing waterways, stressing that "if the Iranian arrangements regarding the Strait of Hormuz are not adopted, West Asia will become an arena of conflict among global powers over energy."

He added that "America's claim of partnership in managing the Strait of Hormuz is unacceptable to Europe, as well as to Russia and China, because it means dominance over the world's energy."

In evaluating the American goals behind the recent escalation, Rezaei pointed out that "America's goal from the military aggression in the past few days is to break Iranian resistance."

He hinted at a decisive deterrence equation, stating: "If the American attacks continue for another two or three days, we will enter an all-out offensive phase. In the all-out offensive phase, Iran will not settle for just responding... and the Americans should expect a barrage of Iranian missiles and drones."

Major General Rezaei stressed the field readiness of the Islamic Republic in confronting the current American administration, saying: "We will respond to Trump's attacks on the ground." He further explained the strategic dimensions of the confrontation: "Steadfastness in today's battle, despite its difficulty, will guarantee Iran's survival for the next fifty years."

Rezaei concluded his statements by emphasizing Tehran's legal and principled rights, stressing that "America must pay compensation to the Iranian people."

He also renewed his country's absolute commitment to avenging the blood of the martyred international leader, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, saying: "We will not hesitate to avenge the blood of the martyred leader. Iran's future security and peace are conditional upon achieving vengeance for the blood of the martyred leader of the Mujahideen and the martyrs of the imposed wars."

These statements come in light of the return of American aggression against Iran, with assaults concentrated on its southern regions, which has prompted Iranian responses with attacks targeting numerous American bases in the region, including Arab countries in the Gulf region, as well as Syria and Jordan.

In response to the aggressions as well, the Revolutionary Guard Naval Force announced the complete re-closure of the Strait of Hormuz, after having previously opened it according to specific routes under the Islamabad memorandum of understanding—a move to which Washington responded by re-imposing a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
