The Naval Forces Command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran issued a statement today, Saturday, announcing the seizure of four non-compliant vessels over the past recent hours.

The statement from the IRGC Naval Forces Command read: "During the recent hours, four non-compliant vessels, backed by the terrorist US military, attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz. They were all stopped in their tracks during a joint operation using missiles and drones."

The statement added: "The IRGC Navy strongly emphasizes that shipowners, like the leaders of certain countries in the southern Persian Gulf, must not be deceived by the false protection of the terrorist US military, and they must heed the warnings and announcements of the IRGC Navy."
