Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Tuesday that his country continues to work under the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, while stressing Tehran’s adherence to its rights in any negotiations with Washington, emphasizing that Iran’s victory in this confrontation depends on the unity of the people and the cohesion of the internal front.

Pezeshkian explained that communication between him and Sayyid Khamenei is increasing day by day within the framework of joint work to address the challenges facing the country.

Pezeshkian stated that Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei stressed during his meetings with him the necessity of ending the state of "no war, no peace" that Iran is going through, confirming that coordination between them is ongoing to achieve this goal.

The Iranian President explained that his country made progress that exceeded expectations in implementing the memorandum of understanding and focused on opening the Strait of Hormuz for oil exports, but the United States violated its obligations, which he considered to have hindered the implementation of the understandings.

Pezeshkian stressed that the Iranian diplomatic apparatus "will never back down from national rights" in any negotiations with Washington, calling for not undermining the efforts of the negotiating team through "ill-considered comments."

On domestic affairs, Pezeshkian said that the enemy sought to target Iranian infrastructure and imposed a comprehensive war aimed at causing the collapse of the country, creating internal pressure, and bringing about social collapse; however, the state of internal harmony foiled those plans.

Pezeshkian affirmed that Iran’s victory in this confrontation depends on the unity of the people and the cohesion of the internal front, considering that the enemy's failure to achieve its military objectives prompted it to move toward dialogue.
