The "Loyalty to the Resistance" parliamentary bloc affirmed that the recent steps taken by the Lebanese authorities are "merely for show" considering them an act that "does not deceive the eyes of the Lebanese people" and represents a "naked attempt to capitalize on illusion."

In a statement, the bloc added that the Lebanese Army was among its people and strengthened its deployment in areas that the Israeli enemy was unable to occupy thanks to the sacrifices of the resistance fighters, emphasizing that the enemy's "army" has not withdrawn from any occupied region.

The bloc considered the enemy's firing upon the Lebanese Army to be a new scandal for the authorities, accusing them of "rushing to falsify facts in full view of the local residents."

The bloc reiterated its rejection of direct negotiations and the framework agreement, stressing that the priority remains a full occupational withdrawal and the implementation of the November 27, 2024 agreement alongside Resolution 1701 exclusively in the region south of the Litani River.

Furthermore, it asserted that any approach regarding the resistance's weapons outside the region south of the Litani River cannot be discussed except following the enemy's withdrawal and based on national consensus. The bloc emphasized that this issue must be debated within the context of a national security strategy, as outlined in the oath of office and the ministerial statement.

The bloc viewed the enemy's continued policy of destroying Lebanese villages as part of its expansionist project aimed at making these areas uninhabitable.

Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon reported that the Lebanese Army had completed its mission of entering the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiya in the Nabatieh Governorate in the southern part of the country. The army is conducting an engineering survey in preparation for the residents' entry, following the withdrawal of Israeli enemy forces from the town as part of the so-called "pilot areas" agreed upon during direct negotiations in Washington between the Lebanese authorities and the enemy entity.

Coinciding with the Lebanese Army's mission, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived in the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiya, where he raised the national flag in its main square.

The "Framework Agreement" between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy provides for a cessation of hostilities, the launch of a long-term political negotiation track, and phased security arrangements—including the "pilot areas."

According to the agreement, these "pilot areas" serve as a security measure intended to test the field implementation mechanism of new security arrangements in Southern Lebanon prior to their expansion.
