The Chief of the Iranian Judiciary, Sheikh Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, cautioned regional leaders on Monday against relying on the United States, warning that trusting Washington and depending on its pledges will lead to nothing but defeat and loss.

Speaking during a meeting with several officials on Monday, Mohseni-Ejei addressed both domestic institutional governance and regional political dynamics.

Regarding domestic judicial and administrative affairs, Mohseni-Ejei acknowledged that exceptional circumstances created by war may necessitate non-compliance with certain standard regulations due to necessity. However, he firmly stressed that such exceptions must not become a permanent approach during normal conditions.

The Judiciary Chief called for handling complaints filed against judicial personnel with the highest level of sensitivity and responsibility. He warned that if citizens lose trust in any official or employee within the judicial apparatus, it would carry severe negative ramifications.

He reinforced that any official or staff member proven to have committed a violation or engaged in corruption—including accepting bribes—will face strict accountability without any leniency or oversight.

Furthermore, Mohseni-Ejei emphasized the critical need to bolster supervision and follow-up within government institutions. He stated that every official holds the responsibility to supervise their subordinates to prevent any opportunity for deviation or corruption.

Turning to regional developments, Sheikh Mohseni-Ejei issued a stern warning to certain leaders in the region against placing their trust in the United States, asserting that relying on American assurances serves only to guarantee failure.

He added that any country that permits its territory to be used to facilitate U.S. attacks will bear the full consequences of those actions, stressing that those who allow their lands to be exploited for committing war crimes will not see a favorable outcome to their policies.
