The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Saturday, that 8 martyrs arrived at hospitals across the strip during the past 48 hours, including 7 new martyrs and one individual who succumbed to prior injuries, alongside recording 76 new injuries.

The Ministry clarified that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far.

It pointed out that since the resumption of the aggression following the ceasefire on October 11, the death toll has reached 1,222 martyrs, in addition to 4,053 injuries, while 804 bodies have been recovered.

The Ministry confirmed that the cumulative toll of the Zionist war of genocide on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,349 martyrs and 174,162 injured.

In a related context, the Ministry reported the death of a citizen due to a building collapse, raising the total number of victims from building collapse incidents to 33 cases.
