The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the execution of a "wide-scale and qualitative" military operation targeting Saudi military mobilizations in eastern provinces, following the detection of final-stage movements and military preparations aimed at escalation against free provinces and the Yemeni people, amid the ongoing siege and aggression now approaching 12 years.
The statement issued by the Armed Forces confirmed that the operation was carried out using a large number of ballistic missiles and drones, targeting Saudi enemy concentrations and mobilizations in the Al-Ruwayk, Al-Abr, and Al-Thaniya areas, as well as camps belonging to the so-called First and Third Emergency Brigades.
The statement confirmed that the strikes resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Saudi forces, the destruction of numerous military vehicles in the targeted camps, and the destruction and burning of weapons depots and camps in the Al-Wadi'a area in eastern Yemen.
Warning to Saudi Arabia Against Any 'Folly'
The Armed Forces warned the Saudi enemy against committing any "folly" against the country and its people, holding it fully responsible for the consequences of any military escalation.
A direct message was sent to those deceived from within the country, urging them to leave the targeted camps and return to their families before it is too late.
The statement concluded by affirming that the Armed Forces are on full alert to confront any escalation, calling upon all citizens to maintain a state of mobilization and to confront any aggressive movements and targeted mobilizations wherever they may be.
The statement stressed the continuation of the "siege for siege" equation until the unjust siege on the country is completely lifted.
Yemen has imposed a maritime ban on Saudi enemy shipping under its declared blockade-for-blockade strategy. The measure is a response to the years-long Saudi-led blockade on Yemen, which has severely disrupted imports, fuel and food supplies, commercial activity, and civilian travel through Sana'a International Airport.
