His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that agreements do not apply retroactively and that the equation of "blockade for blockade" remains in effect until its objectives are achieved.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), President Al-Mashat said: "Anyone who wants to participate with the Saudi aggressor in its ongoing aggression and blockade for 12 years is an aggressor, even if they wrap this participation in glamorous titles."

He added: "Anyone who participates with the Saudi aggressor in its aggression and blockade on our country is an aggressor, and Yemeni law has defined how to deal with hostile states."

Addressing Saudi Arabia, His Excellency President Al-Mashat stated: "Even if you mobilize the entire world to your side, it will not benefit you; the cost of a fair, honorable peace and good neighborliness is far less than war."
