Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei responded to remarks by US President, the criminal Donald Trump regarding Iran, emphasizing that talk of "spoils of war" is not grounded in reality.

In a social media post, Baghaei stated that Trump declared "the spoils belong to the victors" and claimed that the United States is benefiting from large quantities of Venezuelan oil and will do the same with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Baghaei considered these statements reminiscent of Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22, in which the character Milo Minderbinder turns war into a vehicle for profit and greed.

Baghaei noted that Americans make promises regarding Iran that they will follow the same path they took with Venezuela, but before anyone can divide the "spoils of war," they must first actually win the war, rather than remain stuck in a predicament.

Baghaei concluded by stating that the "spoils of Iran" are nothing more than a "paper trophy for a victory that will never materialize."
