The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Monday that the recent statements by the head of the goverment of the Zionist enemy entity, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, represent an explicit reversal of the negotiation path, emphasizing that the enemy is using negotiations as political cover to buy time and continue its war of genocide.

In a statement, the Government Media Office explained that criminal Netanyahu's rejection of the "15-point document" and his imposition of impossible conditions, along with his refusal to withdraw from the Strip, constitutes a deliberate blow to the mediators' efforts and a rebellion against the entitlements of the second phase of the agreement.

The statement noted that the Palestinian position demonstrated high flexibility and responsibility out of a desire to stop the aggression and end the human suffering, while the enemy insists on disrupting the truce and returning matters to square one.

Holding the enemy fully responsible for the consequences of this intransigence, the office called on mediators, the international community, and the United Nations to exert immediate pressure to compel the enemy to halt the war, completely withdraw, open the border crossings, and begin reconstruction without submitting to its political maneuvers.

Yesterday, Sunday, the head of the Zionist enemy government, criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, announced his rejection of the roadmap issued by the "Peace Council" to transition to the second phase of ending the aggressive war and achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, conditioning any withdrawal of the enemy army from the Strip on a "real disarmament of Hamas."

Speaking at the opening of his weekly cabinet meeting, criminal Netanyahu stated that "Israel rejects the 15-point document"—referring to the "Peace Council" roadmap—stressing that "the army will not carry out any withdrawal before a real disarmament of Hamas, and will continue to thwart threats against our forces and citizens."

In response, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reaffirmed on Sunday its full commitment to what was agreed upon with the mediators and the so-called "Peace Council" regarding the roadmap to complete the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

In a press statement, the movement affirmed its seriousness in engaging responsibly to implement the agreed-upon fifteen points and to establish a clear and specific timeline for executing all its phases.

These statements coincide with ongoing understandings regarding the completion of the second phase of the agreement, in communication with Nikolay Mladenov, who is leading the "Peace Council" efforts regarding the Gaza Strip in coordination with the mediators.

Recent months have witnessed disagreements between Palestinian factions and Mladenov regarding the mechanisms for implementing the second phase, particularly after the introduction of a roadmap that included clauses related to reconstruction and weapon arrangements—which Hamas rejected, emphasizing that negotiations must be conducted through mediators rather than through the media.

Recent data published by Mladenov indicates that the latest discussions addressed a new roadmap including arrangements for managing the Gaza Strip, the Zionist withdrawal, and reconstruction, amid ongoing divergence regarding the timing and mechanisms for addressing the arms file, which remains the primary point of contention between the parties.

This comes at a time when regional and international mediation efforts continue to push negotiations toward completing the phases of the agreement, amidst ongoing disagreements over implementation mechanisms and the guarantees required from all parties.
