Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, confirmed the complete withdrawal of U.S. naval military vessels from the waters of the Gulf region.
In an address to the media on Tuesday, Brigadier General Mohebbi stated that Washington had previously deployed between 30 and 40 warships in the region prior to the Ramadan War, whereas today the Persian Gulf is entirely devoid of any U.S. naval military presence.
Highlighting the accelerating pace of the decline of U.S. influence in the region, Mohebbi noted: "The United States reached a dead end in less than 20 days of confrontation with Iran and immediately began seeking intermediaries to open negotiation channels." He added that Washington failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives, ranging from attempts at regime change to the exploitation of the region's wealth.
In a strategic warning, the IRGC spokesperson threatened a "crushing response should any renewed threat arise against Iranian territory," emphasizing that "hundreds of thousands of miles of energy supply lines, thousands of power generation plants, all American and non-American systems, and even the global internet infrastructure would fall within direct targeting range."
General Mohebbi further asserted the failure of the U.S. military doctrine based on fighting simultaneous multi-front wars, noting that depleted American weapons stockpiles pose an existential threat to Washington in the heart of the Pacific Ocean against China and Russia, as well as on other fronts classified by the United States as sources of threat.
In another part of his address, Mohebbi commended the role of journalists and media outlets during previous confrontations, affirming that media personnel succeeded in highlighting the sources of strength of the Iranian state during the second and third imposed wars.
