The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs confirmed on Monday that 1,000 days have passed since detainees were isolated in the jails of the Israeli enemy, with their rights violated and their right to communicate with the outside world denied.
The commission added in a press statement that this comes amid the continued prevention of the International Committee of the Red Cross from visiting the detainees and inspecting their conditions.
More than 9,400 prisoners are held in the enemy’s jails, including 92 female prisoners and more than 370 children. They are subjected to torture, starvation, and medical neglect, which has led to the martyrdom of dozens, according to Palestinian human rights organizations.
