A military source has confirmed that footage recently released by Yemen’s Military Media represents only a small part of a wider series of military operations targeting Saudi enemy forces and military build-ups.
The source said that the footage sends a clear message that Saudi Arabia’s military preparations and escalation will not alter the equation imposed by the Yemeni people, centered on lifting the blockade and responding to escalation with escalation.
The source’s comments came after Yemen’s Military Media released new footage on Friday showing a series of aerial operations carried out using the Rujum drone against concentrations and groups affiliated with Saudi forces in the governorate of Marib and along the western coast.
The footage release comes amid escalating tensions following Yemen's declaration of a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia and sustained drone and missile attacks on Saudi targets. The Rajum drones, which have been featured in previous operations, represent a locally developed capability that has been used effectively against Saudi-backed forces in Marib and other fronts.
