Government Spokesman and Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar al-Bukhaiti announced the completion of preparations related to commemorating the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, across the capital Sana’a and the provinces.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the government spokesman confirmed that preparations had been completed at the celebration venues for this religious occasion in the capital Sana’a and the provinces, including both central and subsidiary venues.

He pointed out that preparations for the Prophet’s Birthday anniversary covered all technical and logistical aspects, including the readiness of the venues and roads leading to them, as well as sound systems, lighting, screens, cleanliness, traffic movement, parking areas, organizing teams, and all service, logistical, and medical arrangements.

The Deputy Minister of Information noted that media preparations had also been completed to broadcast and cover the events, including the cultural programs and performances to be presented at the central and subsidiary celebrations, in addition to security aspects and arrangements accompanying the movement of the guests of the Messenger of Allah across the various provinces of the Republic.

He also affirmed that the government and all official state institutions, along with popular groups, organizing teams, volunteers, and event committees, are making tremendous efforts around the clock to bring the events to fruition in a distinguished manner befitting the greatness of the occasion and expressing the Yemeni people’s love, commitment, and concern for commemorating it in the fullest manner.

The government spokesman called on all Yemeni people, men and women, to participate widely in the central events marking the Prophet’s Birthday in the capital Sana’a and the provinces, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the events committees in each province, on Tuesday, 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH, corresponding to August 25, 2026.

He stressed the importance of commemorating the occasion in response to the directives of Allah Almighty, emphasizing the need to adhere to the guidance of the organizing and security committees, follow traffic instructions, and cooperate in a responsible spirit to embody the exemplary conduct of the Yemeni people in their response to Allah Almighty and His Noble Messenger.
